Our Providers

Russ Henderson, FNP- BC

Founder & Clinical Director

Russ Henderson didn’t set out to just open another clinic; he set out to fix a gap in healthcare he’s been seeing since his time in the military. As a U.S. Air Force Veteran, Russ cut his teeth in Urology—a field where you quickly learn that hormones and physiology drive almost everything about how we feel and function.

After becoming a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Russ moved to the Northwest and founded his first practice in 2018. He saw too many women being told their symptoms were “just a part of life” or being handed a prescription that only masked the problem. He built OWC (Oregon Women’s Clinics) to be the opposite: a medical home where the focus is on the root cause—from menopause and PCOS to insulin resistance and sexual health

Today, Russ leads a team of providers across five locations, focusing on evidence-based BHRT and specialized primary care. His approach is straightforward: combine military-grade discipline with a patient-first mentality. He remains a vocal advocate for making specialized care accessible and affordable, ensuring women have a provider who listens and understands the actual science of hormonal health.

When he isn’t in the clinic, Russ is usually outdoors with his family, whether they’re exploring the Northwest coast or traveling abroad.

Tyler Rice, FNP

Clinical Lead – Ontario

Tyler Rice is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the lead provider at our Ontario clinic. Since joining the team in 2021, Tyler has been instrumental in bringing specialized medical care to the Treasure Valley, where he serves as a dedicated advocate for patients seeking a higher standard of primary care and hormonal health.

Tyler’s clinical foundation was built in the high-volume environment of a major Emergency Department in Iowa. After years of treating “worst-case scenarios”—including cardiac arrests and the severe complications of chronic disease—Tyler shifted his focus toward preventative medicine. To provide the highest level of specialized care, Tyler earned his certification through Worldlink Medical, mastering the most rigorous, evidence-based protocols in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT).

Tyler believes in leading by example. He is an avid marathon runner who recently completed a 26.2-mile race alongside his wife—an accomplishment achieved by less than 1% of the global population. For Tyler, marathon training isn’t just a hobby; it’s a clinical case study in longevity. By focusing on the “pillars of health”—sleep, nutrition, and exercise—he saw his own lab values reach their best levels in over a decade. He uses this same data-driven approach to help his patients optimize their cardiovascular health, VO2 max, and hormonal balance.

A true outdoorsman, Tyler relocated to the Northwest to be closer to family. He and his wife are active members of the community and stay busy raising their young daughter. Their home is also shared with three dogs and a freshwater stingray named Bear. Whether he’s in the clinic or on a 20-mile training run, Tyler is committed to helping his patients reject comfort, embrace challenges, and live their lives to the fullest.
